Possibilities of Lighting
Water jets have the best effect when lighted from below. Light is absorbed by the water and reflected in an intensified way. Lighting from behind, for example, would irritate people and distract them. As an alternative, lighting from above is also possible.
Fountain Ring LED
In collaboration with a renowned manufacturer of LED technologies, aqua-in-motion.com has developed an underwater spotlight which is equipped with a nozzle connector in the centre. That is how water effects may be lighted perfectly from below. By the use of so-called TriLEDs the mixture of colours is already completed within the LED, so that an absolutely regular mixture of colours is guaranteed.
The Fountain Ring LED may be dimmed and addressed with an appropriate power supply unit and "DMX".

Halogen Lighting
Monochrome or white underwater spotlights with a power of 75 watts per spotlight are often used in a combination of four, which is especially suitable for broad effects.
